It kind of depends on you. When I'm writing a "discussion" post here, which is an in-depth post similar to what you might find on a creative writing blog offering tips about writing and productivity or examining an element of writing or reviewing a writing or productivity app, I count those words/work to my pledge. If I'm writing admin posts explaining the rules of the community, the rules of a challenge, prompts, or etc, I don't count those words/work.

From your list, I would count work on: thought-provoking discussion posts & lengthy reviews/recs
And I wouldn't count work on: polls with witty options & structured prompt lists/challenges for inspiring members.

But honestly, we leave "what counts" up to the members, offering some guidelines of what we would prefer you count. But since we never require you to submit your work, it really is up to you.
