I think it comes down to whether hitting the pledge would be more motivating. Would the pressure of being behind help you or stress you out? (Which can change year to year!)


On the mod side: MOST of the colors are changing next year to make space in the rainbow for the new pledges. (You can see the new colors on the front page of the website.) But, um, the 250K blue is staying. Which is wholly unrelated to any moderators in charge of approving designs also pledging 250K words. >.>
