Sooooo.... I never "just write, don't edit." I personally don't find it helpful because it's not my natural mode. If the editing gets in the way of progress, yeah, that's a problem. But if it's just part of your writing process and you can still finish projects, that may be a mentality you don't need. (Not every writing process looks the same, and you should figure out what works best for you.)

If you're between 200K and 300K, I suppose the easy solution is to pick 250K? Unless that feels like it might be too much given the obligations you already know about in the spring.
