I signed up for 250k this year and I'm on track to make 300k. Next year I want to go for 350k, but I think I might make my official pledge 250k again anyway. I noticed this year that it's really motivating for me to outpace my goal on the spreadsheet, and I think that will be the case even if I unofficially go for a higher word count from the start.
