I made that switch after I made my goal only because of RP one year. It was tough the next couple of years, but I don't regret it. (And now my writing life is much stronger!)
The 240D sounds like it might be good for you, but if you want to keep those stricter rules on yourself but also provide some more wiggle room, you might like the 180D?
