What's your pitch, your vibes, or a major component or trope driving your story? They're gay, they're on an airship, they're pirates! Technically, that is the joke answer, but all those things are in the story. Mostly it's a story about a sister who been wronged and is really petty about it, a brother trying his best to sit in an ill-fitting mold, and a love interest who is like, "how tf did I wind up in a romance?" A story about not getting what you want but winding up with something much better.
What are you looking forward to the most (a specific scene/moment, writing a twist, being DONE)? Right now I'm actually working on revisions for a different novel, so I'm most excited about having the time to get back to drafting these chaos siblings.

Coordinate Systems. It's not really a title, it's how I refer to it in my head.
It' a science fiction novel that involves very unusual aliens that have a different view of mathematics and physics than humans. Humans have discovered scription, or ability to manipulate certain fundamental forces in ways that resemble magic. A certain alien race has attempted that too, using human-made instruments for scription, or stratapens. But for them, the effects are deadly. The protagonists - two humans and an alien - set out to discover what is similar and different between the human and alien perception of science that makes the human approach deadly to this alien race. Along the way they, of course, encounter political forces that don't want such discoveries to be made, or who try to bend them to their agenda.
Discovering the story world and its principles as I write about them; also, discovering the unusual, intimate bond that one of the two protagonists will forge with the alien.

What's your pitch, your vibes, or a major component or trope driving your story? Fantasy girl gang sapphic romantasy where a down on her luck lady gets pulled into a dangerous heist for the promise of a boon to change her life, but is at risk of falling in love with the head thief in charge, as well as throwing off the political balance of the Empire.
What are you looking forward to the most (a specific scene/moment, writing a twist, being DONE)? Being done, because I have been noodling on this fantasy world for a while but haven't quite made it to the first kiss yet and I am looking forward to that!

What's your pitch, your vibes, or a major component or trope driving your story? Found family that begins in a crisis, choices and consequences, and the things that we hold onto when everything else seems lost.
What are you looking forward to the most (a specific scene/moment, writing a twist, being DONE)? Honestly, being done. I tried plotting specifics instead of broad act headings and then pantsing the details, and it's been WORK. The final pieces are less satisfying to me. It's just... not my style.
